Sixth Form Option Blocks

To study 4 A level Courses you must have achieved at least 5 grades at 9/8/7.

To study 3 A level Courses you must have achieved at least 3 passes at grade 5 and 2 at grade 4 preferably including English and Maths.

For those who have not achieved these entry requirements please contact the sixth form to arrange an appointment to discuss either an individualised programme of study where possible or other pathway options.

All students who have not achieved a grade 4 in either Maths or English or both must take GCSE RESITS in block E.

Only 1 subject can be chosen from any block. Where 2 subjects are in the same block and not repeated in any other block  it is not possible to take both subjects.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE BLOCKS ARE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2026-2027.

*If a resit GCSE English or Maths is needed, it must be taken in block E.
